Overview
- Camila Mendoza Olmos, 19, was last seen at 6:58 a.m. on Dec. 24 outside her home in the 11000 block of Caspian Spring in northwest Bexar County.
- Her phone and most belongings were left at the house, her car remained parked, and neighbor video captured someone believed to be her searching the vehicle before she disappeared on foot.
- The FBI is providing technical assistance and the Department of Homeland Security is monitoring border crossings and international travel as local teams and volunteers continue ground searches.
- Sheriff Javier Salazar said ICE has not detained her, cited depression and prior suicidal ideation as risk factors, and noted investigators have not ruled out kidnapping, trafficking, or a voluntary departure.
- Authorities are asking residents to review home surveillance footage and submit tips to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
