Sheridan Woman Fatally Shot in Suspected Domestic Violence Incident

Police identify suspect, confirm no ongoing threat to community as investigation continues

A woman was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound on West Dill Road early Thursday morning.
Sheridan Police responded to the scene around 5 a.m. and later identified the incident as domestic violence.
The suspect has been identified, but no arrests have been made yet.
Authorities assured the public that there is no immediate threat to the community.
