Overview
- The development will install a four-well wellhead platform, a pipeline to Bonny Island, and an onshore plant to process gas for Nigeria LNG and send condensate to the Bonny Oil and Gas Export Terminal.
- Peak deliveries are projected at about 350 million standard cubic feet per day, roughly 60,000 barrels of oil equivalent, with start-up targeted before the end of the decade.
- Project ownership is split Sunlink 60% and SNEPCo 40%, with estimated recoverable resources of about 285 million barrels of oil equivalent.
- Shell holds a 25.6% stake in NLNG, which contributes roughly 7% of global LNG supply alongside partners NNPC, TotalEnergies, and Eni.
- Shell frames HI as part of a 2025–2030 buildout to grow LNG volumes by about 4–5% annually, following steps such as the Bonga North FID and the purchase of TotalEnergies’ 12.5% interest in OML 118.
