Sheinelle Jones Named Permanent Co-Host of TODAY’s Fourth Hour With Jenna Bush Hager

NBC is rebranding the 10 a.m. hour for a Jan. 12 launch to restore continuity after a year of rotating guest hosts.

Overview

  • The fourth hour will relaunch as TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle on Jan. 12, 2026.
  • Jones will leave the 3rd Hour of TODAY, while Craig Melvin, Al Roker and Dylan Dreyer continue as co-hosts of the 9 a.m. hour.
  • The appointment ends nearly a year of on-air tryouts with roughly 60 guest co-hosts following Hoda Kotb’s departure in January.
  • TODAY executives Libby Leist and Talia Parkinson-Jones called the move an “exciting new chapter,” citing the duo’s rapport with viewers.
  • A TODAY veteran since 2014, Jones returned in September after her husband Uche Ojeh’s death in May and received support from colleagues, including a pre-announcement call from Kotb.
