Overview

• The committee convenes daily at 7 p.m. from the National Palace with President Claudia Sheinbaum presiding.
• Governors of Veracruz, Hidalgo, Puebla, Querétaro and San Luis Potosí join remotely alongside senior officials from Interior, Welfare, Education, Security, Conagua, Infrastructure, Civil Protection, Health, IMSS, ISSSTE, the Mexico City government, the Army and the Navy.
• Operational priorities include reopening roads to isolated communities, sustaining air‑bridge deliveries of food and water, completing the Censo del Bienestar and executing cleaning and sanitation to reduce dengue risk.
• Targeted deployments are in place with Conagua overseeing work in Poza Rica, Alimentación para el Bienestar in Álamo, Fonatur in El Higo, the presidential intergovernmental coordinator in Puebla and Interior Ministry teams in Hidalgo.
• Sheinbaum has visited affected areas in Veracruz, Puebla, Hidalgo and Querétaro, with San Luis Potosí pending, and has pledged to use the full capacity of the state so that no one is left without support.
