• Proposed CRT commissioners: Ledénika Mackensie Méndez González, María de las Mercedes Olivares Tresgallo, Adán Salazar Garibay, Tania Villa Trápala and Norma Solano Rodríguez.
• Proposed CNA commissioners: Andrea Marván Saltiel, Ana María Reséndiz Mora, Óscar Alejandro Gómez Romero, Ricardo Salgado Perrilliat and Haydee Soledad Aragón Martínez.
• Terms are staggered from three to seven years under the LMTR, with the Senate required to vote within 30 days of receipt.
• The Senate referred CNA nominations to the Economy Committee and CRT nominations to the Radio, Television and Cinematography Committee for review.
• The CRT will sit within the Digital Transformation and Telecommunications Agency and, along with the CNA, replaces the IFT and Cofece as part of the institutional overhaul, with ongoing transition frictions reported at the IFT.
