Overview
- At a Nov. 14 event in Texcoco, the president and governor flagged off three units assigned to Texcoco, La Paz and Ixtapaluca on the Los Reyes–Texcoco corridor.
- The plan foresees 10 specialized repaving trains for the eastern State of Mexico, with machinery funding totaling 500 million pesos.
- SICT says each train combines a milling machine, steel roller, asphalt distributor, paver and pneumatic compactor to deliver deep, longer-lasting rehabilitation.
- Authorities report 102 million pesos already spent this year on asphalt and operations, with 600 million pesos planned for 2025–2027 to sustain works.
- Initial deployment generates about 150 jobs with trained operators, and additional units are slated next for Valle de Chalco, Chalco, Chimalhuacán and Tlalnepantla, after benefits already reached Nezahualcóyotl, Ecatepec and Chicoloapan.
