• The Presidency said Claudia Sheinbaum scrapped a planned visit to Chalco to focus on emergency operations after days of intense rain and flooding.
• Sheinbaum held a remote meeting with governors and federal officials to align rescue, relief and infrastructure work under the Comité Nacional de Emergencia.
• Protection Civil’s latest report cited at least 41 deaths, 27 missing and 117 municipalities affected across the five states, with figures still developing.
