The reciprocal trip seeks to turn prior high-level contacts into concrete economic agreements across priority sectors.

Overview

  • Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif landed in Kuala Lumpur and was received by Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil before Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim welcomed him at his residence.

  • The two leaders will hold formal talks and are expected to witness the signing of agreements and MoUs spanning trade, IT and telecom, the halal industry, investment, education, energy, infrastructure, the digital economy, and people-to-people ties.
