Sheetz Slashes Gas Prices to $1.99 for Thanksgiving Week

Unleaded 88 Gasoline Offered at a 40% Discount in Five States

Sheetz, a popular gas station chain, has lowered the price of its Unleaded 88 gas to $1.99 per gallon for Thanksgiving week, a 40% discount off the national average price of gas.
The promotion is available in Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, and North Carolina, but not in Maryland.
Unleaded 88 is a hybrid gas made of 15% ethanol and 85% gasoline, which is said to burn cleaner and have a higher octane level than pure gas.
The Environmental Protection Agency approves Unleaded 88 for use in cars made after 2001, light-duty trucks, and medium-duty SUVs.
AAA anticipates 55.4 million travelers will relocate 50 miles or more from home over the Thanksgiving holiday period, with nearly 89% of them driving.
