SheBelieves Cup 2024: U.S., Brazil, Canada, and Japan to Compete in Pre-Olympic Tournament
The tournament, commencing on April 6, will serve as a key preparation stage for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics.
- The ninth annual SheBelieves Cup, presented by Visa, will feature teams from the United States, Brazil, Canada, and Japan. The tournament is structured similarly to the group stage of a World Cup, with each team playing two games in different venues over the course of a week.
- The tournament will commence on April 6 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, and will conclude in Columbus, Ohio at Lower.com Field on April 9.
- This tournament will be the last one for the US Women's National Team before the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics in France.
- U.S. interim head coach Twila Kilgore sees the tournament as an opportunity to evaluate players and prepare for the Olympics, as it features three teams already in the Olympics and Japan has a great chance to qualify.
- Tickets for the April 6 doubleheader are already on sale and more than 19,000 tickets were sold in presale. Tickets for the April 9 doubleheader go on presale on Monday, Jan. 22.
