• Misa joined Sharks rookie camp on Wednesday and will play in the Golden State Rookie Faceoff before main camp opens Sept. 18.
• He led the CHL with 134 points last season, scoring 62 goals for Saginaw and earning OHL MVP and CHL top-scorer honors.
• Granted exceptional status to enter the OHL at 15, he later won rookie of the year and helped Saginaw capture the 2024 Memorial Cup.
• Sharks director of player development Todd Marchment has said Misa will have every opportunity to make the NHL roster this fall.
• Competition at forward is heavy with 13 projected NHL forwards and new additions Jeff Skinner, Adam Gaudette, Ryan Reaves and Philipp Kurashev ahead of the Oct. 9 opener against Vegas.
