Overview

  • The pressure-cooking lid on the affected models can be opened during use, causing hot contents to eject and posing a serious burn hazard.
  • SharkNinja has received 106 reports of burn injuries in the U.S., with more than 50 involving second- or third-degree burns, and is facing 26 related lawsuits.
  • Approximately 1.85 million units in the U.S. and 184,240 in Canada are impacted, including replacement lids sold separately.
  • Consumers are instructed to stop using the pressure-cooking function immediately, discard the faulty lid, and contact SharkNinja online for a free replacement while other functions remain safe to use.
