Overview
- On Jan. 14, Kurt Iswarienko filed in Los Angeles Superior Court seeking to block enforcement of the divorce settlement.
- He contends the case was brought in the wrong court and says the deal, signed July 12–13, 2024 and entered July 15 after Doherty died on July 13, cannot be enforced.
- He further argues trustee Christopher Cortazzo has not shown authority under the Shannen Doherty Family Trust to pursue the judgment.
- In a Nov. 24 petition, the estate alleged Iswarienko refused to list the Dripping Springs, Texas home for sale as required, with proceeds to be shared with the estate.
- The estate also claims he withheld $50,274 from an aircraft hangar transaction and failed to return personal property or provide an inventory and copies of photographs created during the marriage.
