Shania Twain's tour bus crashed on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, during a highway trip between Winnipeg and Saskatoon due to poor weather conditions.
Thirteen Shania Twain's tour crew members were hospitalized due to the crash. Some of them were trapped inside the bus and had to be rescued; however, they sustained non-threatening injuries.
Shania Twain was not on the bus at the time of the accident, and she is safe; she was performing as part of her 'Queen Of Me' tour.
The accident resulted from dangerous driving conditions caused by inclement weather, which hindered road visibility and handling of the vehicles.
Despite the incident, Twain’s tour is scheduled to continue, with her expected to perform in Saskatoon on Thursday, November 9, and then will move on to other Canadian cities including Calgary, Vancouver, and Edmonton before starting her third Las Vegas residency in May 2024.
