- Entertainment plans include a kickoff ceremony, Mickey Avenue Shanghai Swing, Goofy appearing as the God of Fortune, a nighttime display featuring the Chinese character for “horse,” and The Adventure of Rhythm running Jan. 16–Mar. 1.
- Bullseye from Toy Story will make his Shanghai Disney Resort debut on Jan. 28, with appearances at the Pepsi E-Stage Welcome Moment, the Spring Festival Drum Ceremony, and greetings in Toy Story Land.
- Festival dining spans the resort with a Spring Festival Family Feast and Chocolate Afternoon Tea at Royal Banquet Hall, a Mickey Mouse Family New Year Feast at Mickey & Pals Market Cafe, a seasonal dinner buffet at Lumière’s Kitchen, and an Orange and Hawthorn Crepe with Strawberry Ice Cream at CookieAnn Bakery Café.
- Year of the Horse merchandise collections will feature keepsakes including Duffy & Friends items, alongside characters in limited-time festival attire with horse-themed details and festive looks across meet-and-greets.
- Park enhancements include bold red-and-gold décor with horse-shaped lanterns and a giant lantern display, plus limited-time BDX Droids arriving in Tomorrowland starting Feb. 17 and themed treats such as symbolic fish dishes and Winddancer Cotton Candy.
