- Shanghai Disney Resort announced that the Shanghai Disney Enchanted Star Hotel will officially open on December 16, 2026, and released the first official photos of its lobby and guest rooms.
- Reservations open at midnight on November 6, 2026, Shanghai time, which is 8:00 a.m. Pacific on November 5, 2026, when bookings will be available through the resort’s booking channels.
- The nine-story deluxe property has 400 rooms and suites, sits on Wishing Star Lake near the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, and uses early 20th-century Shanghai and Art Nouveau design cues in its public spaces and rooms.
- Official images show a rotunda lobby with a spiraling star chandelier, a bronze Sorcerer Mickey statue, themed Club and Deluxe rooms with Duffy artwork and Enchanted Storybook Castle motifs, and the resort says the hotel’s story centers on wishes and dreams.
- The new hotel raises the resort’s on-site room count to about 1,615 and offers shared amenities such as indoor and outdoor pools, fitness and play areas, and dining, which should help meet strong visitor demand and support Shanghai Disney’s ongoing expansion.
