Shamil Gasanov, the fourth-ranked ONE Championship featherweight MMA contender, has expressed his desire for a rematch with Garry Tonon.
Gasanov recently won a unanimous decision victory over South Korean fighter Oh Ho Taek at ONE Fight Night 18.
The Russian fighter has stated that he would prefer the rematch with Tonon to take place in a cage setting, which he believes would give him an advantage.
Gasanov has also shown interest in the upcoming match between Tonon and former featherweight champion Martin Nguyen, predicting a 60-40 chance in favor of Tonon.
Despite his focus on Tonon, Gasanov's first option will always be a shot at the featherweight MMA belt.
