Shake Shack Opens First of Six New Outlets in Greater Toronto Area

Shake Shack has announced the planned opening of six new locations across the Greater Toronto Area, with two in the city's core, to be located at 556 King St. W. and 765 Yonge St.

Overview

  • The Kitchen Hub Castlefield location opened on Aug. 7 and the Square One store in Mississauga will launch on Aug. 19.
  • Future openings include a midtown Toronto Shack at 40 Eglinton Ave E this fall, a Vaughan Mills outlet by the end of 2025, and downtown sites at 556 King St W and 765 Yonge St in mid-2026.
  • Shake Shack’s initial Canadian debut at Sankofa Square and subsequent launches at Union Station and Yorkdale drew consistent lines, driving demand for further growth.
