Shah Chairs MHA Panel in Andamans as CDS Tours Islands, Security Tightened

  • Amit Shah led the Ministry of Home AffairsParliamentary Consultative Committee meeting in Wandoor from 11 a.m. to about 2:40 p.m., covering national security, disaster management, cyber security and regional infrastructure, with a dedicated session on the islands’ strategic importance.
  • Shah urged a four-pronged approach to combat cybercrime focused on convergence, coordination, communication and capacity, according to meeting briefings.
