Shaboozey's 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)' has spent 19 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, tying the record set by Lil Nas X's 'Old Town Road' in 2019.
The song, which samples J-Kwon’s 2004 hit 'Tipsy,' has also led the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for 23 weeks, showcasing the growing popularity of country-rap crossovers.
Shaboozey is nominated for five Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist and Song of the Year for 'A Bar Song (Tipsy),' as well as Best Melodic Rap Performance for his collaboration with Beyoncé on 'Spaghetti.'
Despite its success, 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)' lost Single of the Year at the CMA Awards to Chris Stapleton's 'White Horse,' and Shaboozey was edged out for New Artist of the Year by Megan Moroney.
