Sha Na Na's Screamin' Scott Simon Dies at 75

The pianist and songwriter succumbed to sinus cancer after a 52-year career with the iconic doo-wop group.

Screamin' Scott Simon was known for his dynamic performances and playing piano with his feet.
He co-wrote 'Sandy,' famously sung by John Travolta in the film Grease.
Simon joined Sha Na Na in 1970 and stayed until their final tour in 2022.
The band appeared in the 1978 movie Grease and hosted a popular TV variety show.
Simon is survived by his wife, daughters, stepson, and granddaughters.
