SG Flensburg-Handewitt Parts Ways With Coach Nicolej Krickau

SG Flensburg-Handewitt has dismissed head coach Nicolej Krickau after a disappointing start to the Handball-Bundesliga season.
The decision comes after a 29:31 loss to Rhein-Neckar Löwen, leaving the team in sixth place with 19:9 points.
Club officials, including CEO Holger Glandorf, stated that the move was made due to insufficient development within the team.
Co-trainer Anders Eggert and sports director Ljubomir Vranjes will manage the team on an interim basis, starting with Monday's match against Füchse Berlin.
Krickau, who joined the club in 2023 on a three-year contract, led the team to a European League title earlier this year.
