SFJ Organiser Inderjeet Singh Gosal Granted Bail in Ontario, Issues Threat in Post-Release Video

Police say the September 19 traffic-stop case with 36 weapons counts remains under investigation.

Overview

  • Shortly after leaving custody, Gosal appeared alongside SFJ leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun in a video that included threats directed at India’s national security adviser Ajit Doval.
  • Ontario Provincial Police say Gosal and two others were arrested after a vehicle stop in Oshawa, with charges including careless use of a firearm, possession for a dangerous purpose, and carrying a concealed weapon.
  • SFJ stated Gosal was freed from the Lindsay Correctional Centre and claimed he will lead the group’s planned November 23, 2025 “referendum.”
  • Gosal is described in reports as a key aide to Pannun and took on a coordinating role in Canada following the 2023 killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
