Sexion d’Assaut Rapper Jr O Crom Accused in Paris Sexual Assault Case

Karim Ballo, 39, also known as Jr O Crom from the rap group Sexion d’Assaut, is accused of sexual assault in the Marais district of Paris earlier this year.
The allegations stem from an incident on March 25, 2024, where a man reported being forced into sexual acts after leaving a bar in the area.
Police identified Ballo as a suspect using video surveillance footage and presented him to a judge on November 29, 2024, as part of an ongoing investigation.
The victim reportedly sought help at a hotel in Aubervilliers, claiming to have been assaulted after two nights of consensual encounters at a bar.
Jr O Crom, a founding member of Sexion d’Assaut, had pursued a solo career after the group’s peak success in the early 2010s and is married with three children.
