‘Sex Education’ Actor Alexander Westwood Sentenced to 15 Years for Sexual Abuse

Westwood was found guilty of 26 sexual offenses against five victims, four of whom were minors at the time of the abuse.
The court heard that Westwood used his minor celebrity status to manipulate and abuse teenagers under the guise of acting lessons, forcing them to perform sexualized scenes.
Judge Neil Chawla described Westwood's actions as a decade-long campaign of 'sordid sexual criminality' and noted his lack of remorse and insight into the harm caused.
Westwood will serve at least two-thirds of his sentence before being eligible for parole and is subject to a 26-year restraining order and sexual harm prevention measures.
