- Federal Passenger Company adjusted departure windows for several services on January 2, including No. 44 (Imeretinsky Kurort–Moscow) not earlier than 22:00, No. 442 (Adler–Rostov-on-Don) not earlier than 23:00, No. 380 (Adler–Vladikavkaz) not earlier than 00:30 on January 3, No. 116 (Adler–Tomsk) not earlier than 16:30, No. 471 (Moscow–Adler) not earlier than 19:30, and No. 502 (Adler–Moscow) not earlier than 20:00.
- By 22:30 MSK, RZD’s live board showed three services bound for Adler and Imeretinsky Kurort running roughly 16.5 to 19 hours late, including trains from Rostov-on-Don, Moscow, and Vladikavkaz.
- North Caucasus Railway reported a stop of train No. 442 between Gulkhevichi and Otrado-Kubanskaya at 02:05 MSK, which led to delays of up to five hours for 18 passenger trains.
- Southern transport prosecutors cited weather-related damage to the contact network, and FPC later reported 46 trains running behind schedule due to abnormal snowfall in the region.
