  • Inmet’s orange alert covers the entire state of Rio de Janeiro with forecast rain of 30–60 mm per hour or 50–100 mm per day, winds of 60–100 km/h and a chance of hail through Wednesday.
  • The Greater São Paulo area is under warnings for heavy rain up to 100 mm/day, wind gusts that may reach 100 km/h and hail, with risks of flooding, fallen trees and power outages.
  • Ceará has a ‘potential danger’ notice for 97 municipalities from Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning, expecting 20–30 mm/h or up to 50 mm/day and winds of 40–60 km/h.
  • Piauí faces a 48-hour yellow alert on November 19–20 for rain up to 50 mm/day and winds of 40–60 km/h, alongside a separate low-humidity advisory for most of the state.
  • In Bahia, new orange and yellow alerts are in force through Thursday with the potential for intense coastal rainfall and associated risks such as flooding and landslides.
