Severe storms spawn tornado outbreak across the Plains, damaging towns

Multiple tornadoes touched down Thursday across five states in the southern Plains, damaging homes and buildings but causing no reported injuries.
The National Weather Service received reports of nearly 15 tornadoes in parts of Kansas, Nebraska, and Colorado.
The town of Noble, Oklahoma saw some of the worst damage, with homes and businesses sustaining damage from high winds and tornadoes.
The storms also dropped ping-pong ball-sized hail and heavy rain, prompting flood warnings in nine states from Montana to Mississippi.
More severe weather is forecast Friday from Texas to Iowa, threatening damaging winds, hail, and further tornadoes.
