One person died in an RV that was overturned by the storm, according to Pawnee County Sheriff Darrin Varnell.
The National Weather Service reported wind gusts up to 72 mph and hail the size of golf balls.
Pawnee Public Schools were closed and homecoming activities were canceled due to the storm damage.
