Overview
- Météo-France ended orange warnings after midnight in Bouches-du-Rhône, Drôme, Isère and Vaucluse, with the Var maintained until about 03:00 and the Côtes-d’Armor in Brittany on orange through Monday morning with targeted evacuations in Paimpol.
- Intense downpours delivered up to 127 mm at Avignon including 108 mm in three hours, about 92 mm at Aix-en-Provence in under an hour, and 94 mm in one hour at Toulon.
- Marseille-Provence airport diverted roughly a dozen flights between 17:30 and 19:30, and regional TER service in the Vaucluse faced major disruptions with a gradual restart late in the evening.
- For safety, the OM–PSG match was rescheduled for Monday at 20:00 and the Toulon–La Rochelle rugby game was called off on site due to an unplayable, waterlogged pitch.
- Fire crews reported about 250 interventions in Bouches-du-Rhône and 165 in the Var including vehicle rescues in Tourves, power cuts peaked near 50,000 households before falling to around 15,000 late evening, and closures in Toulon included the motorway tunnel, train station and hospital access.
