  • Shooting erupted just before 8 p.m. Wednesday at the park near Tacoma as more than 100 people were present.
  • Law enforcement officials say the incident appears to have originated in a dispute between two groups rather than targeting park-goers.
  • Victims ranged in age from 16 to 38, with three in critical condition and the remainder in serious or stable condition.
  • Five victims were transported to nearby hospitals by emergency medics and two others sought treatment on their own.
