Overview

  • The transport van from Cypress Lucky Mutt Rescue went up in flames on Interstate 270 in Madison County late on June 20.
  • Seven of the 11 dogs onboard—Pancho, Piglet, Penny, Clover, Stetson, Lancelot and Presto—did not survive the fire.
  • Drivers and bystanders pulled four dogs to safety, three of which have since been delivered to their adoptive families.
