• Court heard the men groomed girls as young as 13 with drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, money and shelter to force them into sex in squalid flats, cars, car parks, alleyways and disused warehouses.
• Three market stallholders used free underwear and cash from their Rochdale stalls to lure and abuse the victims.
• Three taxi drivers had their bail revoked after police intelligence suggested plans to flee to Pakistan and one defendant absconded before the trial.
• One survivor testified she endured abuse by over 200 men and became pregnant at 14 by one of the perpetrators.
• Following formal apologies from Greater Manchester Police and Rochdale Borough Council, the men face lengthy prison terms and Operation Lytton will progress with five further trials set to begin in September.
