• Seven men from Gujarat were arrested at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport after Dubai immigration flagged their Luxembourg employment Schengen visas as counterfeit
• The suspects traveled to Dubai on tourist visas before attempting to board a flight to Luxembourg with forged documents
• Immigration officer Vishnu Sawant discovered the flagged entries during arrival inspections and referred the case to Sahar Police Station
• Ultraviolet light examination exposed missing security features, incorrect fonts and faded colours on the counterfeit visas
• Investigators have traced the scheme to a Gujarat-based agent named Kisan and are widening the probe into a cross-border forged visa ring
