Seven Devotees Returning from Maha Kumbh Killed in Madhya Pradesh Collision

The accident occurred Tuesday morning near Jabalpur on the Nagpur-Prayagraj National Highway when a truck traveling on the wrong side of the road struck a mini-bus carrying Maha Kumbh pilgrims.
Seven people, all returning to Andhra Pradesh after attending the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, died at the scene, while others were trapped in the wreckage.
Two individuals sustained injuries and were rushed to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College Hospital in Jabalpur for treatment.
Local authorities, including the district collector and superintendent of police, are overseeing rescue and relief operations at the crash site.
Eyewitnesses and police reports confirm that the truck involved was carrying cement and overtaking recklessly, leading to the collision.
