Seven Dead After Tourist Bus Overturns on MoreliaPátzcuaro Highway in Michoacán

State prosecutors have placed the injured driver under the Public Prosecutor’s oversight pending a criminal inquiry.

  • Emergency responders from Policía Morelia, state firefighters, the Red Cross, the Guardia Civil and the National Guard conducted rescues and managed traffic closures and diversions.
  • DC Tours Uruapan, identified as the trip organizer, said it is contacting relatives and will assist families affected by the crash.
