Seva Pakhwada Set for Sept. 17–Oct. 2 With Delhi Leading Health Push

Delhi plans a health-focused rollout during the fortnight to pair welfare delivery with political outreach.

  • Delhi will host a mega launch at Thyagaraj Stadium on September 17, with Union home minister Amit Shah expected to chair the event that kicks off the city’s Seva Pakhwada.
  • Officials say the ceremony will inaugurate 101 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, five new hospital blocks and activate 150 dialysis units across six hospitals.
  • Additional Delhi rollouts include deploying 24 fire quick response vehicles, opening a senior citizens’ home in Paschim Vihar and unveiling 75 schemes and services over the fortnight.
  • The nationwide Seva Pakhwada is scheduled for September 17–October 2 with health and blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, tree planting, promotion of swadeshi products and BJYM’s large-scale youth runs.
  • States are aligning plans, with Haryana directing departments to conduct medical check-ups, sanitation campaigns and tree plantation drives across all districts.
