Proposed film would have started with a night out in 'Stefon's New York', ending with Meyers' character's death

Seth Meyers revealed his idea for the opening scene of a never-made movie about the 'Saturday Night Live' character Stefon, played by Bill Hader.
The movie would have started with Stefon at 'Weekend Update', followed by a montage of him and Meyers at various clubs, ending with Meyers in a body bag.
Meyers and Hader's on-screen chemistry was a highlight of their time on 'SNL', with Meyers describing their sketches as his 'romantic comedy'.
Hader's final 'SNL' show included a sketch where Stefon marries Anderson Cooper, but Meyers interrupts the wedding and brings Stefon back to the studio.
Hader has previously stated he felt pressure to expand the Stefon character beyond 'SNL', but did not want to make a Stefon movie.
