  • Lega Serie A confirmed the first Italian use of the referee-worn camera during Juventus–Inter at 18:00 on Saturday at Allianz Stadium in Turin.
  • The high-resolution device weighs about 6 grams and sits at the base of the referee’s microphone armband.
  • Footage will be used in warm-ups, live play, and set-piece preparations, and it will be available for replays.
  • The RefCam feed will be treated as part of the broadcast camera set and delivered as an isolated signal to the VAR team.
