• Cellebrite specialists Heather and Jared Barnhart retrieved files showing that on Christmas Day 2022 Kohberger downloaded information on more than 20 serial killers, including a PDF on Danny Rolling.
• Autofill records on his phone and laptop revealed searches focused on non-consensual sexual acts, such as “sleeping,” “passed out,” “Voyeur,” “Forced,” “raped” and “drugged.”
• Investigators recovered selfies from his device, including a thumbs-up image taken hours after the murders and a hooded selfie days before his arrest.
• The digital artifacts were extracted despite Kohberger’s intensive data-wiping efforts, which involved incognito mode, VPN use and eraser software.
