  • He also entered no contest pleas to three counts of kidnapping for ransom in San Ramon, securing consecutive life sentences in the same hearing.
  • He is already serving life terms for two 2009 Santa Clara County sexual assaults and for a 1993 Folsom Lake abduction following earlier no contest pleas.
  • County prosecutors and sheriff’s offices reopened cold cases last year after Muller confessed to additional home invasions and kidnappings in prison letters and a meeting.
