Serial Bank Robber Bruce Edward Bell Arrested Again

Bell, 71, who was on supervised release after serving over 40 years in prison, allegedly robbed a bank in Sun Valley, California, making off with over $60,000.

Bruce Edward Bell, a 71-year-old serial bank robber with four prior convictions, was arrested on Dec. 21, 2023, for allegedly robbing a bank in Sun Valley, California.
Bell, who was on supervised release after serving more than 40 years in federal prison, allegedly held a bank employee at gunpoint and made off with over $60,000.
Bell was arrested during a traffic stop where police found a black replica firearm and around $64,000 in cash.
The Los Angeles Police Department believes there may be more victims of Bell's robberies who have yet to be identified.
Bell is currently being held on $1.6 million bail.
