Sergio Reguilon Returns to Tottenham as Manchester United Cuts Loan Short

Sergio Reguilon, who was on loan at Manchester United, has returned to his parent club Tottenham Hotspur.
Reguilon was brought in to cover for injured players Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, and made 12 appearances for United.
With Shaw returning to fitness and Malacia nearing recovery, United activated a break clause in the loan agreement, leading to Reguilon's return.
United's decision was also influenced by a reduced fixture load after exits from the Champions League and Carabao Cup.
Manchester United has also been working on contract extensions for other players, including Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Victor Lindelof.
