Sergio Garcia Rejoins DP World Tour to Pursue Ryder Cup Return

Garcia pays over $1 million in fines to regain eligibility for the 2025 Ryder Cup.

Sergio Garcia has reapplied for DP World Tour membership, aiming for a record-equalling 11th Ryder Cup appearance.
Garcia resigned from the tour in 2023 after joining LIV Golf, incurring significant fines and a suspension.
To regain eligibility, Garcia has paid his outstanding fines and will serve a nine-week suspension.
Although reinstated, Garcia will miss early 2025 events, with his suspension extending beyond the Team Cup in January.
The 2025 Ryder Cup will be held at Bethpage Black in New York, where Garcia hopes to contribute to Europe's team.
