The Tempo is owned by Kilmer Sports Ventures, led by Larry Tanenbaum, who also chairs Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment and the NBA Board of Governors.
Williams will have an active role in the team's branding, including designing jerseys and creating merchandise collaborations.
