‘September 5’ Leads Deutscher Filmpreis Nominations with Ten Nods

The movie recounts the 1972 Munich Olympics hostage crisis from the perspective of a U.S. television crew covering the event.
Other Best Film nominees include 'In Liebe, Eure Hilde,' 'Die Saat des heiligen Feigenbaums,' 'Islands,' 'Köln 75,' and 'Vena.'
'Die Saat des heiligen Feigenbaums,' a political drama about the Iranian protests following Jina Mahsa Amini's death, also garnered six nominations.
The Deutscher Filmpreis ceremony, one of Germany’s most prestigious film awards, will take place on May 9 in Berlin.
