  • The new subsidy covers workers with under 12 months of contributions who have no entitlement to contributive unemployment benefits.
  • Eligible applicants must register as job seekers within six months of job loss, have at least 90 days of unemployment contributions and earn no more than 75% of the 2025 minimum wage.
  • Monthly payments start at €570 for the first six months (95% of IPREM), drop to €540 for days 181–360 (90% of IPREM) and amount to €480 thereafter (80% of IPREM).
  • Benefit duration is tiered by contribution days and family responsibilities, ranging from three months for minimal contributors with dependents to up to 21 months for those with 180 days of contributions and household obligations.
  • Subsidy approval covers three-month periods and must be renewed within 15 working days after each quarter, with late applications backdated up to six months to prevent suspension.
