• Mexico’s basic‑education calendar in the Diario Oficial de la Federación sets 185 instructional days from Monday, September 1, 2025, through Tuesday, July 15, 2026, for public and private schools incorporated into the system.
• Schools are completing registrations by Friday, August 29, with many taking documents from Monday, August 25; typical requirements include the student’s birth certificate and CURP, a recent proof of address, a guardian’s official ID, and prior grades if requested.
• More than a million educators are in the intensive Consejo Técnico Escolar from August 25–29 to prepare classrooms and planning materials for the student return.
