Overview

• During a visit to Ixtapaluca, Education Secretary Mario Delgado inspected construction of CBTIS 296, a project budgeted at 67 million pesos.
• The new technical campus will offer programs in cybersecurity, general nursing, and urbanism and sustainable development.
• For the 2025–2026 school year, the Rita Cetina universal scholarship is set to reach nearly 20 million primary and secondary students nationwide.
• In the State of Mexico, 1 million students receive Rita Cetina support, 546,000 receive the Upper-Secondary Universal Scholarship, and 33,000 receive Jóvenes Escribiendo el Futuro.
• SEP delivered 105 million pesos in furniture to 90 basic-education schools in Ixtapaluca and reported five more preparatorias under construction, ten secondary schools being converted for evening upper-secondary classes, and LEEN backing for 4,613 basic and 647 upper-secondary schools in the state this year.
